We brushed colour onto the transparent glass surface, then blew another layer of coloured paint on top. Mixing colours through the brush’s unevenness produced a natural effect like wood grain or stone.
The tense perfection of glass’ glossiness a
nd smoothness fuses with handwork’s imperfect texture to create an unusual material, employed here for an eight-piece collection including a side table, console, bench and dining table.
