Japanese for everyone
The family consists of three essential objects, a stool, a bench and a shelf, all making use of small diameter wood. Called CASTOR, the items are related by a joint detail that reminds of the traces left by beavers on wood. The bench and the shelf are made from Japanese oak and inspired by Japanese furniture typologies. The bench works equally as a seating accommodation, an extension of the shelf or as a low table.
