When it comes to solid surfaces, the new models in the ASTEROID series open up a whole new world of sensations thanks to the uniqueeffect of the particles that scud randomly across the surface of the sheet like tiny cloud puffs.They float harmoniously across a chic, subtle background colour, speckled with tiny micro-particles that generate a restful backdropfor the tiny cloud puffs.
It is a material that is warm to the touch and similar to natural stone. It is made of two-thirds natural minerals (ATH – aluminiumtrihydride) and a low percentage of high-resistance resins. This composition gives KRION™ a number of exclusivefeatures: nil porosity, it is anti-bacterial without any type of additive, it is hard-wearing, highly resistant and easy to repair, only requires minimum maintenance and is easy to clean.
Treated in a similar way to wood, it can be cut, joined, and thermoformed to make curved pieces. It can even be cast during the production process to produce distinctive designs and projects impossible to obtain with other materials.
We can create designs with no joins which prevent the spread of bacteria and make cleaning and maintenance easier. We offer a wide range of colours, including a white finish that stands out for its purity and neutrality in comparison with other similar materials. It is an ecological material, as it is 100% recyclable. All products made of KRION™ can be reprocessed and reused in the production cycle.
