The media company Condé Nast Germany has moved to the Richard Meier Building in Munich after an extensive redesign.
Chair with shell in 3 dimensional plywood and legs in sandblasted stainless steel. Available in blanched oak and oak stained dark wlanut.
A Light Chair in a new technology.
A shell chair made of a new material, a threedimensional molded plywood, based on the classic plastic chairs of the last century (Saarinen, Eames, Stark) We use a modern, characterful shape, slight soft curved lines with clearly defined edges to create a modern look of the 21. century. COX combines the comfort of an upholstered lounge chair with the warmth of wood in an only 6 mm thin shell, molded into a form by high technology. COX uses an innovative technology to mold a threedimensional deformation of plywood in two ways.
1. for a spheric-shaped characteristic in the sitting area.
2. for "the curves" in the armrest-zone.
Only the characteristic of a spheric forming makes it possible to create the chair in this thin way. COX is innovative, significant, gracile and beautiful by a fluent shape. COX is comfortable in the sense of an advanced ergonomical form. So you can see the roots in the plastic shells of the last century, but the look is completely new. And it swivels like the tulip chair, although it has 4 slim legs.
