In December 2002, designer Knut Völzke founded the company Leise Design and Distribution in Frankfurt am Main. Knut had previously studied product design at the Academy of Art and Design (HfG) in Offenbach am Main in Germany, and his thesis project included the conception of the design label LEISE. Since then, Leise Design works within integrated design, interior architecture, and exhibition design, and creates new collections of furniture.
