Aestheticizing the seemingly imperfect
by Uta Abendroth | 1/24/2013
Creating the foldup lamp family, Bertjan Pot has drawn its inspiration from the photographer's luminous umbrellas and the cineast's light reflectors. More than just a light the foldup lamp, like a roof, creates a luminous space.
More a room's creator t
han a classic light, the foldup unfolds instantly. Hanging from a flexible carbon fiber's sticks construction, this big light dome exists as a table lamp, as a floor lamp, and as a pendant light.
Available from september 2010.
