Nanimarquina launches Mía, a new rug collection that can be entirely customised with an online configurator www.nanimarquina.com/collection/mia. The customer becomes the protagonist, choosing all the details, creating their own design.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the brand, its founder wished to pay tribute to all those who have made success possible, by creating a collection with them in mind.
An artisanal flat-weave made in India, the Mía rug is a Dhurrie created by joining three pieces, individually dyed, to obtain a worn, lived-in effect.
Thanks to the simple online configurator, the collection can be customised to suit each customer, choosing between two sizes, four colours, and four different finishes. The customer can contrast seams, add different types of fringes or opt for colourful stitches. Infinite results are possible; each detail makes a difference, ensuring each rug is unique.
The rug collection is accompanied by four cubic poufs, completely upholstered, designed by Andreu Carulla. The embroidered braid references the creation process of the rugs. The combination of the poufs and rugs creates informal environments for both home and office.
