FontanaArte: Signorina table lamp by Daniela Puppa
Light in pure form — a compact glass sphere on a delicate structure becomes a quietly contemporary table lamp.
With Signorina, FontanaArte presents a new table lamp by Daniela Puppa that draws on the formal language of the historic Prima Signora while developing a distinct, contemporary aesthetic. The lamp combines a white satin-finished, hand-blown glass sphere with a three-legged base made of chrome-plated metal. This clean geometry creates a calm, understated presence that fits naturally into both residential interiors and commercial spaces.
The compact design—37.4 cm in height and 16 cm in diameter—and the even light output of an integrated 6-watt G9 bulb underscore its functional approach. The quality of materials and craftsmanship follow the artisanal tradition of FontanaArte, which has cultivated glass as a central means of expression in decorative lighting design since 1932.
Signorina thus positions itself as a contemporary interpretation of a classic motif: a luminaire that does not evoke nostalgia, but rather translates the company’s design DNA into a precise, modern form.
