ligne roset: Togo by BOSS by Michel Ducaroy
BOSS x Ligne Roset: The Togo between Couture and Comfort
Ligne Roset and BOSS have reinterpreted the classic Togo, taking another step toward the growing convergence of fashion and interior design. At the heart of the collaboration is the idea of linking the craftsmanship and aesthetic codes of both brands.
For Ligne Roset, the partnership is seen as a continuation of its design philosophy – balancing iconic form with innovation. BOSS, meanwhile, translates elements of its tailoring language into the home, positioning the Togo as a design object that makes the connection to fashion tangible.
First introduced in 1973, the original Togo is regarded as one of the defining seating icons of the 20th century. Its fully foam-based construction dispenses with a traditional frame and adapts flexibly to the body. The characteristic folds are created through meticulous handcrafting and remain a central design feature.
The updated version – the “Tailored Togo” – develops these foundations further through refined materials and subtle detailing, placing greater emphasis on its sculptural presence. The concept is complemented by accessories from the BOSS portfolio, which echo the material and color palette of the piece and further reinforce the dialogue between fashion and interior design.
