Individually: For the premium owner-occupied apartments of the "Friends Tower" in Munich, Bette designed with “Bette Floor" 30 different, floor-level shower areas.

To live in the center of Munich: With the 260 new premium owner-occupied apartments of “Friends Tower” in the Nymphenburg district, the architectural office Sattler Wappner seeks to literally lend more space to this desire. The 15-story residential towers are located in the new quarter “Am Hirschgarten”, which is close to the parks of west Munich. Offering housekeeping, service app and in-house facilities such as a fitness studio, the concept is primarily geared towards people with demanding careers. With success: All the apartments measuring between 41 and 129 square meters have already been sold. The open floorplans form fluid zones with a series of functional “cubes”, which merge into each other to exploit the available space. This required precision for the furnishings and fittings, including in the bathrooms.

With individual sealing solutions and standard-conforming sound insulation, Bette, the bathroom furnishings specialist, won the contract and designed 30 different, floor-level shower spaces with “Bette Floor” and the “Universal” installation system. With a five-millimeter radius, the corners can be integrated perfectly into the rectangular tile system, which means there are no openings that need to be filled with silicone. Moreover, the surfaces of glazed titanium steel are highly robust, and, being pore-free, are both hygienic and easy to clean. In terms of color, Bette matched them to the porcelain stoneware floors. The 15-story residential towers are located in the new quarter “Am Hirschgarten”, which is close to the parks of west Munich.
Through the bay window-like facades, the residents can enjoy a 180-degree panorama.
The residential buildings offer interesting views from every perspective with a striking cubature and bodied depth panorama windows.
