Park Lane Copenhagen has recently opened in the upscale neighbourhood of Hellerup in Copenhagen, nestled between the picturesque Øregårdsparken and the Øresund coastline. The project navigates the tension between relaxation and urban proximity deliberately, ensuring the spaces feel cosy while remaining closely connected to their urban context. The building's foundation was provided by the former Strand Teatret – a historic cinema whose structure was preserved and carefully adapted for contemporary use. The design aimed to build upon the existing structure with a clearly structured, functional layout.

This approach continues in the interior design, where a consistent material and colour strategy combines wood, leather, brass, marble and textiles into a harmonious whole. The minimalist palette of cream, brown and green tones creates a sense of visual calm and continuity. The interplay of materials and light in the bathrooms is particularly striking: sculptural washbasins rest on dark marble, and the warm reflections on the brushed surfaces of the AXOR fixtures echo the subdued lighting, enhancing the spatial depth. This creates an intimate, tranquil setting, further structured by symmetry and clean lines. The subtly shimmering textures of Brushed Bronze, Brushed Red Gold and Brushed Brass emphasize the nuanced spatial effect without overwhelming it.

The designs of the selected collections also complement each other perfectly in their formal execution: AXOR One features minimalist, precisely defined geometry; AXOR Citterio C is characterized by textured handle surfaces and balanced proportions; and AXOR Starck is consistently focused on the essentials. In the Hilliger Master Suite, for example, the deep black marble, a bathtub, and two anthracite sinks with fixtures in gleaming brushed brass create a harmonious overall look. The tub is further accentuated by a precisely coordinated combination of the AXOR One thermostatic module, AXOR Starck hand shower, and AXOR Citterio tub spout.
