Form & Refine 2023: Quatrefoil

Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen founded the Danish interior label Form & Refine in 2018. Their claim is clearly formulated: For the processing of the fine materials, sustainability, material, form and quality are equally at the top of the list. The solid oak wood for the furniture by Form & Refine comes from the Damsbo forest on the Danish island of Funen – from which Jonas Hermann has shaped the "Quatrefoil" table, which is both practical and expressive thanks to its creative structure. From the square tabletop, four L-shaped legs stretch out towards the floor, arranged in a cross shape and placed close to each other. This leaves plenty of space for the seated person and the table itself, measuring 72 x 68 x 68 centimetres, also takes up little space. Practical, solid and sophisticated down to the last detail, "Quatrefoil" exemplifies the design signature of Form & Refine and has what it takes to become a lifelong companion. (am)
