STYLEPARK HEIMTEXTIL
Fabrics in summer

Long awaited – and now the time has finally come: the Heimtextil Summer Special will take place from 21 to 24 June 2022 and offer visitors comprehensive information and services. Architects and designers can look forward to the continuation of the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality programme.
6/21/2022

Thanks to this year's close cooperation between the Heimtextil Summer Special, Techtextil and Texprocess, visitors will find numerous cross-references and an efficient overview of international developments, products and production methods in the textile sector in one place. The wide range of the Heimtextil Summer Special, with its focus on contract furnishing, is best explored on one of the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Tours, which take visitors to exhibitors offering particularly relevant solutions for the contract sector and, in addition, provide new insights into tailor-made services. The tours will take place on the first three days of the fair and will meet in the foyer of Hall 4.0. In addition, Max Gilgenmann, consultant for sustainable textiles and fashion, will lead tours on 22 and 23 June 2022 from 2 to 3 p.m. as part of the 'Green Tours' to selected exhibitors who have a special focus on sustainable creation and production. The meeting point for these tours is Hall 3, Level 0, D51. Afterwards, as usual, the "Green Village" offers the opportunity to find out about the latest developments in the green segment.

The Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Lectures will also feature expert presentations on the direction in which the market is developing, where new sales opportunities are to be found and which factors are decisive for environmentally conscious and climate-friendly planning and building. The main theme of the lectures this year is "Scenarios in Space". This takes up the question of how areas and their use must change in order to meet current and future challenges - from flexible use of space to alternative forms of living - and how textiles can contribute to the realisation of these concepts. The Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Lectures will take place on 22 June 2022 from 3 p.m. in the Europa Room (Hall 4.0 Foyer). Heimtextil Conference: 'Sleep & More' will also continue with presentations, lectures and discussions under the central theme 'Hospitality-Trends meets Sustainability'.

SPOTT trends & business will also ideally capture the spirit of the times in the Heimtextil trend section: Under the theme "Next Horizons", the trends "Deep Nature", "Hyper Nature", "Beyond Identity" and "Empowered Identity" are united, demonstrating new ways of thinking about sustainable action. Core aspects are a responsible use of nature's resources, which forms the basis for our economies, and a circular structure for the production of design. (am)
