Tibetan carpet weaving techniques gives the carpet collection "Semis" its unique character.

With their “Semis” collection for Danskina, the Bouroullec brothers are highlighting the special features of Tibetan carpet weaving techniques: The ultra-fine but very strong knots made of handspun wool take a long time to make but the result is a robust and unique carpet in every instance. The design in black and white has a zestful touch thanks to the dots placed in different rhythms: Geometrically arranged and in versions with large or small splashes, they create exciting visual effects. This is emphasized by the surface with its weave of differing depths and densities.
