How do you develop a collection that is already successful? Peter Wirz from the Vetica design studio asked himself this question for Laufen and honored the long-term collaboration with the contemporary further development of his “PRO” collection as “PRO X”. The result is a complete solution for professional bathroom design.

"As a designer I feel honoured to be able to continue to shape a product for so many years. Due to mutual trust and many years of collaboration with Laufen experts, it has been possible to create a new generation of products that maintain the same design philosophy as the original collection: a minimal, accessible design that promises to be timeless and adapt to any bathroom environment", says Peter Wirz. To mark the 20th anniversary of the comprehensive series, he has reinterpreted it: organic washbasin shapes and clean lines that blend harmoniously into modern architectural concepts, whether in residential, hospitality or public sector applications. Thanks to their sophisticated geometry, the washbasins always provide optimal water flow, while the toilet range meets a wide range of installation requirements and offers excellent flushing performance with minimal noise and reduced water consumption.

In addition to the technical details, the high degree of variability offered by ‘PRO X’ is particularly valuable for architects and planners: the product range can be adapted to different models and standard sizes in several widths and even includes a generous 120-centimetre-wide double washbasin. The collection is available in white, matt white and LCC white, with the option of equipping all ceramics with LCC Active surfaces, including the seats and covers. Thanks to the robust silicate ceramic coating, bacteria and viruses are greatly reduced and high hygiene standards are met. The "CLEANET PRO" shower toilet can also be seamlessly combined with "PRO X". It features smartphone integration and customisable comfort settings that are easy to use.

The ‘PRO X’ collection moreover includes a wide range of fittings that perfectly complement the ceramics in the series with their clear design language and ergonomically shaped handles. Water quantity and temperature can be adjusted intuitively, making conscious use of resources a natural part of everyday life. These are also available in different versions, such as matt black or chrome. All elements of the ‘PRO X’ collection are also compatible with the existing versions of the ‘PRO A, B and S’ series. "Ceramic as a material is poetry in form. Poetry that actually reinvents itself over and over again,‘ says Peter Wirz.

With ’PRO X‘, Laufen offers a complete solution for professional bathroom design that leaves nothing to be desired. It can be ideally complemented with the new bathroom furniture series ‘Base 2.0’ and ‘Juna’, which continues the individual design of the bathroom into the storage space. (am)
