| 3/8/2026

In an intensive evaluation process, Annika Egloff-Schoenen (Managing Director, Fachverlag Dr. H. Arnold GmbH), Ulrike Brandi (Managing Director, Ulrike Brandi Licht), Andreas Habermehl (Managing Director of Technology and Vocational Training, ZVEH – Central Association of German Electrical and Information Technology Trades) and Prof. Amandus Samsøe Sattler (ensømble studio architektur, President of DGNB e.V.) together with Stylepark selected the winners.

The international submissions – ranging from technical luminaires and lighting components to home and building automation and forward-looking security solutions – demonstrate the thematic diversity of Light + Building and underline the global relevance of the award. The submissions are divided into the categories Sustainability & Future Energy +, Smart & Connected Solutions +, Lighting Design & Atmosphere +, User Experience & Integration + and Sustainable Exhibition Stand +. ‘Focused on the times, diverse and exciting’ is how Ulrike Brandi describes the quality and range of the entries. At the same time, the international nature of the entries underlines the global relevance of the award.

The awards will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday, 8 March 2026, the opening day of Light + Building, at 1 p.m. in the Design Plaza of Messe Frankfurt in Hall 3.1. In addition, the award-winning products can be experienced at the exhibition grounds in the foyer of Hall 5.1/6.1 and in Hall 9.0 D74 in the form of digital info hubs.
