As a consequence of the Corona pandemic, the 59th edition of the Salone del Mobile is cancelled. The next international furniture fair in Milan will now be held from 13 to 18 April 2021.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary next year, for the first time all the exhibitions of the Salone del Mobile will be presented in parallel, namely EuroCucina, Euroluce, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, S.Project, SaloneSatellite, FTK (Technology for the Kitchen) and the International Bathroom Exhibition.

In a statement to the press, the board of the Salone del Mobile said that they had tried to keep the date previously set for June 2020 until the last minute in order to ensure that the event would run as planned, but that the scenario that is currently emerging does not allow to confirm the holding of the Salone.

The Salone del Mobile 2021 will therefore be all the more varied: "This single, great sector-wide trade fair will represent a fresh opportunity to pull together to revitalise our businesses, the entire supply chain that works in synergy with the Salone, and Milan." (am)
