Gloster

Gloster and Stylepark invite you to celebrate the premiere of Sebastian Herkner's new outdoor collection "Dune" with drinks and canapés.

Kinnasand/ Studio Greiling

"Structures" by Studio Greiling in collaboration with Kinnasand LAB focuses on the carpet in an unusual role in a colourful installation - instead of lying at the feet of the visitor, the focus is on the haptic experience.

The Diner by David Rockwell

"The Diner" is an installation by architect David Rockwell, which he created in collaboration with design studio 2x4 and design magazine Surface. The pop-up restaurant combines the styles of American dinners and serves drinks and snacks.

"Typecasting. An Assembly of Iconic, Forgotten and New Vitra Characters"

The exhibition reflects in projects, products and design studies current forms of self-presentation such as strategies in social media to collect friends and likes. The exhibition is curated by Robert Stadler and features works by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Commonplace Studio, Hella Jongerius, Front and Maria Jeglinska, among others.

Ventura Future and Ventura Central

After eight years of Ventura Lamprate, the first version of the Ventura Future is launched this year: The ready-to-use location "Loft", the Independent Museum "Future" and the former pharmaceutical faculty of Viale Abruzzi serve as exhibition venues for a mix of high-end design and experimental approaches. The second issue of Ventura Centrale presents design projects by Nitto, Asahi Glass, Stephan Hürlemann, horgenglarus and Eileen Fisher, among others.

Hay

Hay, Sonos and WeWork present the works of Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, GamFratesi and Stefan Diez, among others. New Order will also create different working and living spaces with generous room installations. The graduate exhibition of the Emerging Talent Programme, of which Stefan Diez is a member of the jury, will also be on show.

Louis Vuitton

The French fashion brand is showing limited editions and experimental prototypes of the "Objets Nomades" collection at Palazzo Bocconi. The objects inspired by travel include the "Bomboca" sofa by the brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana and the "Ribbon Dance" sofa by designer André Fu.

Swarovski Palace

In the backyard of a neoclassical Milanese city palace, Swarovski presents interior objects from the Swarovski studio, as well as the label's first internally designed collection. Highlights of the crystal chandeliers of "Swarovski Crystal Palace" will be on display, created with design greats such as Nendo, Patricia Urquiola, Peter Pilotto, John Pawson, Tord Boontje and Marjan van Aubel.

Danish Design@Mindcraft

Curated by Ditte Hammerstrøm, the exhibition "Mindcraft" shows experimental works by Danish designers in the historical setting of the San Simpliciano Monastery.

Cos/Phillip K. Smith III

A sculptural installation by American artist Phillip K. Smith III will be on display in the courtyard and garden of Palazzo Isimbardi in Milan from 17. to 22. April 2018 in collaboration with British fashion label Cos. With the help of mirrors, Philip K. Smith plans to use the daylight changing sunlight and the movement of the viewer for an interaction with his work on the grounds of the Renaissance building from the 16th century.

Snarkitecture/ Caesarstone

At Eurocucina, quartz manufacturer Caesarstone will be showing "Altered States" from its cooperation with the Snarkitecture design studio. The further development for the Salone should create an experience around the kitchen island with ice, water and steam.

Nendo

Nendo's solo exhibition "Nendo: Forms of Movement" shows the results of ten collaborations with Japanese manufacturers. The focus is not only on the final products but also on the manufacturing process. Part of the show is the installation "Hourglass" - four organic looking hourglasses carved from transparent acrylic blocks.

Norwegean Presence

As a result of the cooperation between Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA), Klubben and Norwegian Crafts, "Norwegean Presence" shows contemporary craftsmanship, design and manufacturing processes. The spectrum in the Zona Tortona district ranges from furniture, lighting and home accessories to room-filling installations.

Marni La Vereda

The Italian fashion label Marni continues its cooperation with Colombian creative artists and presents a series of colourful furniture and sculptures as part of the Pop-up Vereda Festival.

3D Housing

Italian architect Massimiliano Locatelli of CLS Architetti, in collaboration with Italcementi Heidelberg Cement Group, Arup and Cybe, will build a 100 square metre house during the fair using a 3-printer. The one-storey project "3D Housing 05 Technology Meets Humanity" will offer a living area, a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. It is located in Piazza Cesare Beccaria, near Milan Cathedral.

Wonderglass

"Kosmos", presents new collections Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Fornasetti and the results of collaborations with Dan Yeffet and studiopluz at the Istituto dei Ciechi. In cooperation with Raw-Edges, Wonderglass also realized a light installation on the Spazio Krizia, which was inspired by the Israeli dance "Horah".

Smart/ Konstantin Grcic

On the occasion of the exhibition "Night Fever. Designing Club Culture 1960- today" of the Vitra Design Museum, Konstantin Grcic has designed a mobile disco together with Smart, which will create atmosphere on April 17th in Piazza Castello.

Always worth a visit: on 19,000 square metres of exhibition space, Spazio Rossana Orlandi presents a wide range from the work of established designers to experimental installations. The exclusive partner is the Sé label, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary with the Ini Archibong furniture collection. The "Collection IV - Below the Heavens" comprises chairs and tables that combine filigree and filigree forms in one figure.
