The Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has once again canceled the already once postponed fair, which was supposed to take place this year in September. The new date is now February 7-11, 2023. "We want to unite the design industry and focus on a strong comeback after two years of absence," says Hanna Nova Beatrice, Project Area Manager, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair and Stockholm Design Week.

In doing so, the decision was made in close dialogue with TMF – the Swedish Wood and Furniture Industry Association – and industry leaders. "We have talked to our members and the majority of them think we should focus on February, which is an established date internationally. After two years of cancelled fairs, it’s more important than ever that the industry stays together, and the trade fair gets a strong restart. This is what the industry wants," says Cecilia Ask Engström, Director Industrial Development, TMF – The Swedish Federation of Wood and Furniture Industry.

Stockholm Design Week will still take place as planned from September 5-11, 2022, with an extensive international press program, the launch of the Stockholm Design Week app and many activities and exhibitions in the city.

The current dates are:

Stockholm Design Week: September 5-11, 2022
Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair: February 7-11, 2023
