Luminous signpost

The Elica LED table luminaire by Brian Sironi for Martinelli Luce follows a clear geometry: the cone-shaped base holds the flat arm, on whose underside LEDs are integrated. The light is thus pleasantly diffused and can be placed as needed. No switch, no screw is distracting to the eye - instead, the light can be switched on and off with a horizontal movement of the dynamic arm. Made of aluminium, the 35 centimetre high and 60 centimetre wide lighting sculpture by Martinelli Luce is also flexible in position and durable in material. The puristic and refined design has already received numerous awards, including the renowned Italian industrial design prize Compasso d'oro in 2011.
