Green dynamics
For ‘Titan green’, Wagner Living has replaced the aluminium components of the ‘Titan’ collection with plastics made from recycled polyamide and glass fibre. At the end of their life cycle, these can be returned to the recycling system. Compared to a conventional office chair, this reduces the carbon footprint by up to 70 percent. The elasticity of the breathable mesh covering and Dondola® technology ensure a fantastic sitting experience: the joint decouples the rigid connection to the lower part of the chair. While sitting, micro-movements are generated which relieve and strengthen the spine. For maximum comfort, the point-synchronous mechanism with integrated seat depth adjustment allows for individual adjustments: the armrests are height and width adjustable, and the seat can be adjusted in height and depth. ‘For us, well-being comes when design, movement and health are in harmony,’ says Wagner Living.
In a constantly changing working environment, there is a growing desire for solutions that offer comfort and ergonomics, as well as taking responsibility for our environment. This is exactly where Wagner Living comes in – products that promote movement, rethink design and focus on sustainability. In addition to the ‘Titan green’, this also includes the ‘d1 office PRO green’ office chair. The 100 percent recycled aluminium components underline the commitment to sustainability, while the design by Stefan Diez makes a statement for holistic design. The four-dimensional mobility of the Dondola® 4D seat joint prevents tension and offers maximum comfort. According to the ‘Dondola Study’ conducted by the Orthopaedic Clinic for the University of Regensburg at Asklepios, over 56 percent of test subjects with back problems experienced pain relief, and over 95 percent of respondents found the Dondola chair extremely comfortable and were very satisfied with it. The mechanism operates completely silently.
If more dynamism is required, the ‘W3 green’ is the perfect addition: this standing and sitting stool combines stability with flexibility. The secret lies in a specially shaped sole made of thermoplastic materials that adapts to the surface like a high-tech sports shoe. The high-quality Nautilus fabric in green (NT5) is made entirely from recycled polyester and is Seaqual certified – produced from recycled marine plastic such as PET bottles. Thanks to optimal air circulation, it also guarantees a comfortable seating climate.
For anyone who wants to stay agile at standing/sitting workstations, the ‘W-ork green’ offers the ideal solution: it enables variable sitting, relieves pressure on the intervertebral discs and promotes blood circulation – for greater concentration and performance. Whether as ‘W-ork low’ for classic workstations or as ‘W-ork High’ for efficient meetings at a standing table: each variant supports active working. This creates a harmonious interplay of ergonomics, design and environmental awareness. Here, too, the high-quality Nautilus fabric in green (NT5), consisting of recycled polyester and Seaqual-certified, is used. (am)
