Small and perfectly formed, a Hirche design: Richard Lampert discovered the picture of a small, organically shaped chair in a 1960s book about Herbert Hirche. The German architect and designer had created the chair in 1955 and only a small number of copies had been produced. Featuring a tubular steel frame and an upholstered plastic seat that comes in a variety of fabrics and materials, Hirche’s chair now celebrates under the name H 55 its comeback at Richard Lampert.
