Manila chinarot

The fibres come from the leaf of the sisal agave, which originally comes from Mexico. Today sisal is most commonly cultivated in Tanzania, Madagascar and Kenya. For reasons of quality, Ruckstuhl's sisal comes from Tanzania and Kenya. The yarn is spun in E

urope. Sisal has an appealing shine. Thanks to its even structure and colour, it lends itself well to dyeing.
