What’s on the table
The quintessence of the collaboration between Schiffini and Vico Magistretti in the designing of the kitchen environment and the research into materials, this is the very first kitchen made entirely of aluminium. It is a refined, conceptual kitchen in whi
ch the material from which the components and structures concealed within are made are also revealed on the outside. The anodised aluminium doors are characterised by their elegance, exceptional resistance and precision craftsmanship.
After the world
wide success obtained thanks to is exclusive aesthetics and technology, the range has been enchanced by a new black finish. Like the natural silver version, black is not simply a colour, but a technical and productive solution that gives a hard wearing, l
ong lasting finish, obtained through an exclusive process of anodisation.
Cinqueterre thus increases its timeless appeal, with elegant combinations of fine materials and finishes. This is also due to the different suggestions of new worktops and snac
k areas, shelves and cupboard backs with shelves, available in teak, rosewood, black walnut, wengé and bamboo. The brushed black granite worktop solution is particularly striking and its material nature creates a pleasant balance with the delicate
aluminium. The sparkle of shiny mirrored stainless steel, which enhances the black satin effect is another striking solution.
The door is characterised by a wave profile and consists of overlapping natural or black anodised aluminium slats and close
d at the side by an aluminium profile in the same finish. Solutions are also available with sliding glass doors, in both the wall and floor units. The handles are made of natural or black drawn anodised aluminium or wengé heartwood, and are availab
le in two sizes. The free standing and peninsula units, equipped with large hoods in the centre of the room, allow countless design solutions, the common denominator of which is the design, refinement and high quality of the materials. The sectional struc
ture allows great freedom for different designs and envisages a complete programme of conventional doors for floor units and column units and conventional and folding doors for the wall units. The extractable elements have two exclusive programmes of smal
l and large drawers, "Box One System" (30 cm to 90 cm module) and "Space System" (75 cm to 150 cm module, and over up to 210 cm for the models made entirely of aluminium).
As in all the models of the Schiffini collection, it can b
e designed with the exclusive ALSystem body made entirely of drawn natural chemical anodised aluminium, thickness 18 and 32 mm, entirely damp-proof, hygienic and unalterable over time. The back and bottom of the units are made of white HPL laminate, thick
ness 4 mm, also water resistant. Interior shelves made of tempered glass. Alternatively, there is the new grey melamine body consisting of water-resistant wood fibre panel containers, made with a material obtained from 100% recycled wood (ecological panel
), thickness 18 mm and veneered; melamine-faced.
