For the Schönbuch brand Michael Ress and Carolin Sangha have combined manufacturing standards with colorful aesthetics and made their joy of design accessible to an international target group.
Strength through clarity. The puristic shapes of the KAEDE tray call to mind the minimalism of Japanese design. The frame comprises two sections made from a special, multi-layered 3D veneer and formed into arcs. It is the points of contact between the two arcs that give the tray its character. This creation is an interesting demonstration of how the natural properties of a material can enrich a design with fascinating details.
