Material in the interplay
When closed, the TIX Slideboard resembles a monolithic wooden block. The sliding door, which projects slightly forward over half the width, is notable for its use of a different material (brushed aluminium). It seems to hover unsupported, and gives this item of furniture its name. The height is either 75 or 95 centimetres; the width can vary between 180 and 240 cm. The body of solid-wood is lacquered, oiled or soaped. The item can also be produced in MDF, painted in a colour from the available range.
