Produktbeschreibung

The concept of the BuzziHive is that of a protective sheet, wrapped around two seats. It follows the work logic of today, where people often need to have instant meeting sessions. For that, they could easily take two chairs, but with the BuzziHive they get an extra protective wall around them for a more quiet and peaceful conversation.

The BuzziHives are little cells that remain open and welcoming for others yet perfect for a private one-on-one conversation. They can be used as a stand-alone piece in a room or in groups where they truly reveal their personalities and create the impression of a little “hive”.

The wall, the protective sheet that serves as a sound insulator, looks like it is a half-open door. The BuzziHives are always partially open and because of the movement generated by the outer shell, this can be seen as an invitation for people to come in.

These little cells come with or without a roof, depending on the need for privacy and general noise reverberation characteristics of a specific area. Once seated people can fold out a little tablet in order to conveniently share information. Because of the built-in tablets the overall size of the BuzziHive is reduced. When folded back the tablets reveal a blackboard and a much smaller tablet upon which a mug of coffee can be placed for instance.

These meetings cells, whether used alone or in groups as part of a bigger setting, will bring an architectural and modern feel to any office or public space. Their back side has been designed to be completely flat so that they can easily be put in rows against a wall or create a dividing element between two parts of an office... or just a little island of BuzziHives.
