The Asterisco rug is produced with an embroidered design and a double layer of felt.
Little floral designs are embroidered with a wool cord which is made pass through the holes created in the upper felt. The border feature the Punto Pettine. The number of the design varies according to the rug dimension.
Composition: 100% woven felt in pure virgin wool, cord in 92% pure virgin wool and 8% polyamide
Cord filling: 100% polyester
Daily cleaning: rug beater or vacuum cleaner without brushes.
Periodical cleaning: professional dry cleaning. Do not hand wash nor machine wash.
Stains: small stains, combination of water and mild soap; oil stains, solvents.
Upon request, border stitching is also available in Punto Pettine.
