With Opus, Paola Lenti and Micro. today intend to recreate the aesthetic pleasure of ancient flooring and coverings, using contemporary materials. The mosaics and the brick floorings of the Roman times, that came back to light with the excavations of Pompeii, Herculaneum and other important archaeological sites, are sources of inspiration and a starting point for the creation of continuous surfaces enhanced by an effect of apparent approximation and by the sensitivity of the handcraft in itself. In this project, Paola Lenti and Micro. have involved HD Surface, a company that has made available its thirty years of experience to develop a completely new design concept.
