What do Scandinavia and Japan have in common? And why is a chair from the sea causing a stir? These are the topics of this year’s 3daysofdesign.
An elegant, luxurious armchair that was designed in 1970 and reintroduced in 2008 in honour of the 100th anniversary of Carl Hansen & Son. The chair works on its own or with the CH102, CH103 and CH104 sofas and the CH106 and CH108 tables which are all from the same series. The chair is hand-‐crafted over a beech wood frame. Its cushions are fully upholstered, reversible and built on a foam core that is surrounded by a mixture of European down and foam granulate. The chair's legs, visible frame and the front of the armrests are made of stainless steel. The chair is available upholstered in leather or fabric.
