Product description

Two more functional elements are added to the Setubal system: a waste basket and a container desk. Like the trays and magazine holders, the new elements are made through laser cutting technology and aluminum plates bending, thus the technological requirem

ents become the distinctive elements of the project.

In order to reach the utmost simplicity, the aluminum sheet is worked as if it was an origami, using the structural thickness of the aluminum sheet to build the volumes. No welding is involved i

n the manufacturing of Setubal, in fact the surfaces come together leaving cuts visible and this outlines the forms and lightens the volumes. The large storage box has a convenient cover sealed solely by an interplay of cuts and lateral projections. There

fore, the box is easy to remove and use as an additional open container. The cuts allow the user to stack the box on top of the object holders for better space arrangements.

In terms of work organization, these simple additions make the most of th

is system. It is an elegant and subtle tool, suitable not only in the office but also in our homes.
