A light touch and a novel combination of shapes provide the inspiration for Lyze by Florent Coirier, a collection that teams aluminium with steel. The framework of the chairs, in extruded aluminium, is combined with a seat in die-cast aluminium and a backrest formed by a pattern of stainless steel circles. The frame and the backrest are fixed mechanically, using screws, to allow for the creation of numerous colour combinations between the seat and the backrest.
