Form and Structure
With his “Infra-Structure Episode 2” lighting system and “Oblique” table luminaire Vincent Van Duysen continues his successful cooperation with Flos.
« With a combination of a thin frame and an illuminated sphere, the collection offers two configurations of objects: either as side tables or as floor lamps leaned against walls. The “soft” shape of the frames grants the objects a sense of character and creates a unique visual, as if capturing the weight of light itself. »
The framelike, sculptural Heco by Nendo collection comprises freely installed side tables or floor lamps leaned against walls. Both designs feature a metallic frame with a peculiar curve, as if its structure was gently surrendering to the weight of an illuminated opalescent glass sphere. The subtle, elegant connection between the light and the frame is achieved without any visible element.
Heco is completely adapted to outdoor environments thanks to the use of stainless steel, fully resistant to the atmospheric agents. Both rectangular and square table models include integrated concentric hinges allowing the table to be rotated by 350°. The table surface is realized in quartzite, a fine natural stone, and is available in two sober varieties: London Brown and Crema d'Orcia.
Finishes: structure in Matt black, shelves in Crema d’Orcia stone or London Brown stone
Light sources: Power Led
