Lumiere, a clever and refined reinterpretation of the classic table lamp, was brought to life by the creative mind of Rodolfo Dordoni back in 1990. This lamp is now celebrating its 25th birthday, maintaining the same personality and distinctive characteristics that have made it an icon of contemporary design.
With the unmistakeable shape of its blown glass diffusor and aluminium tripod support, Lumiere has been given a special new look to celebrate its 25th birthday, designed to make it even more unique and precious.
The blown glass diffusor has in fact been given an evocative metal, mirror-like finish, created using a unique, handmade process involving five distinct stages – from mouth-blowing the glass to the finishing touches – together requiring over 100 hours of careful craftsmanship. A specific technique has also been used on the inside of the diffusor to further enhance the beauty of the blown glass, allowing you to get a glimpse of the light source when the lamp is switched on.
Lumiere is perfect for stylishly illuminating and decorating any room, bringing the elegant and refined radiance of a timeless design.
