During Milan Design Week, Gaggenau will be presenting an extensive exhibition with a side programme in the magnificent Villa Necchi Campiglio from 7 to 11 June.

Gaggenau is currently presenting the Flex induction hob with integrated ventilation from the 400 series, which combines many functions with purist aesthetics.

Touch-screen displays, adjustable work surfaces, sensor-controlled coffee making: “Living Kitchen”, the biennial fair parallel to imm Cologne, presented technology as an aid to a better life.. A vision that even proves rather convincing on occasion.

The imm cologne furniture fair is currently making a comeback, not just thanks to efforts being made to once again provide dedicated labels and manufacturers with a sophisticated platform, but also because of its grand new kitchen show, "Living Kitchen". While experienced trade fair visitors may have wondered what the name referred to ("the kitchen is alive" or perhaps "living the kitchen"?) one thing is clear: Kitchens are the new hot topic that electrifies professional visitors and the general public alike.

The Design Awards of the Federal Republic of Germany were bestowed in the course of the opening of Ambiente in Frankfurt. There were five Gold and 20 Silver medal winners. Moreover, the designer Richard Sapper was honored for his life's work.
