APKM: Pull-out cabinet with modular top elements
The pull-out cabinet APKM adds vertical modularity to our existing solution: It can be complemented with various top elements, a storage tray or a combination of different modules. The underlying mechanism is very simple: The weight of the modules and pins in the lower carcass ensure that the elements are positioned and secured against twisting.
The montage of the elements is tool-less, allowing for the rebuild and assembly of any configuration at any point in time.
Here, too, the design of the inside-outside-carcass patented by gumpo finds its use: Inner and outer carcasses are independent units which are interconnected by a simple furniture fitting. The inner carcass can be opened either to the left or to the right. Pull-out cabinets manufactured by gumpo therefore no longer feature the typical problem of having to choose between a left- or right-hand version.
Both the inner carcass and the top elements can be covered with different surfaces. This offers additional design freedom.
