LS 990 DORNBRACHT x JUNG

DORNBRACHT x JUNG: One Finish. Two Brands.

A shared finish for switches and faucets

Two strong brands. One shared finish.

Through a new collaboration, DORNBRACHT and JUNG are combining their design expertise under the motto “Signature Design. Crafted in Finishes.” Starting in March 2026, both manufacturers will offer a shared finish—for a cohesive design across architecture and interiors. Kicking things off at Light + Building 2026 is a bronze shade, a brushed real-metal finish that visually and tactilely unites JUNG’s switch ranges and DORNBRACHT’s faucets. In the future, the portfolio will be expanded to include additional shared finishes.

Added Value: Consistency Instead of Compromises

Architects and interior designers often face the challenge of bringing together different trades and manufacturers to create a harmonious overall look. Especially in bathrooms, kitchens, and increasingly in living areas, faucets, switches, hardware, and lighting fixtures come together—often with similar but uncoordinated finishes. This is precisely where the collaboration between DORNBRACHT and JUNG comes into play: A uniform finish simplifies planning, enhances the quality of the design, and creates visible consistency within the space. Both companies are committed to expanding a network for cross-manufacturer, holistic design—an approach that JUNG has been practicing for years through collaborations such as its partnership with Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®, and which is now being consistently further developed in partnership with the surface expert DORNBRACHT.

Metal as a Defining Design Element

Metal shapes the atmosphere of a space in a unique way. Brushed surfaces in bronze, brass, or copper tones lend interiors depth, warmth, and a tangible sense of quality. They are currently being used more and more in place of smooth, neutral standard surfaces, enabling a sophisticated, long-lasting design that transcends different stylistic worlds. The high-quality craftsmanship of real metal is part of both companies’ design DNA. As a luxury manufacturer, DORNBRACHT has many years of expertise in the development and finishing of high-quality metal surfaces, relying on precise processes such as PVD technology, which enables exact color nuances and high durability. JUNG also brings deeply rooted expertise in metalworking to the table: As a premium manufacturer of modern building technology, the company has its roots in the metalworking trade and produces switches and outlets made of real metals with the utmost precision. Elaborate manufacturing processes, handcrafted steps, and a keen sense for the respective material define the quality of the products—and make metal, at both DORNBRACHT and JUNG, a deliberately chosen, design-defining element. To ensure a completely uniform appearance, JUNG’s LS 990 switches are coated at the DORNBRACHT factory and thus precisely matched to the surfaces of the fixtures.

LS Bronze: The Official Product Launch

A first in interior design: With this genuine copper-toned metal finish, DORNBRACHT and JUNG are offering a shared finish. For JUNG, LS Bronze is a new variant within the LS design series; for DORNBRACHT, the finish matches the proven brushed bronze version in name, color, and feel. The result is an authentic, cross-brand identical finish for switches and faucets. At launch, LS Bronze is available for a clearly defined product range. Additional shared finishes and metal colors are already in the planning stages and will be launched at Milan Design Week 2026.

The collaboration between DORNBRACHT and JUNG represents a new approach to design: products from different disciplines no longer appear as individual objects, but as part of a coordinated whole. With the motto “Signature Design. Crafted in Finishes,” both companies are sending a clear signal for material-conscious design, planning clarity, and high-quality architecture “Made in Germany.”
