Flaunting a new feel for life

Rio is a neat, stackable chair designed by Gunilla Allard inspired by her many journeys. The silhouette is sharp, simplicity and comfort key words. The challenge has been to add an expression of our time in the endless history of sitting.
The chair Rio comes in moulded shell, in natural or black stained ash. The back is slightly thinner than the seat, creating a perfect blend of flexibility and strength. The seat works together with a thin sled base in stainless or powder coated solid steel. The thin frame allows high-density stacking of the chair. Rio comes with or without arms. Rio also comes in a fully-upholstered version with a zip in the back, providing a delicate detail.
