This Danish designer, much appreciated exponent of the functional minimalism, says that the idea of AUKI came while he was playing in creating surfaces starting from geometric shapes: like origami, lifting up the corners of a flat surface, the result was a cocooning bowl. By defining then a central line shaped to welcome the human body, he came up with a lounge chair with a very simple aesthetic and high level of comfort.
