Arper 2023: SEMITON

"Arper wanted to develop a versatile product that could be adapted to different situations, whether in the office, at home or in the hospitality industry. Although some technological elements are present, they have been formulated in such a way that they fulfil Arper's aspiration to appear very light and soft," says Cinzia Cumini. The basis is formed by aluminium frames that can be fitted with different modules made of wood veneer. They can also be fitted with doors or side panels and different colours can be selected for each module. "The language of Semiton connects with Arper in terms of the elements and parameters of lightness, clarity and colour. Colour is particularly important in this object, says Vicente García Jiménez.

The designers have thought through the components of "Semiton" down to the last detail: not only can the system be completely dismantled and integrated into any interior design, it also fits perfectly into the existing Arper collection. Thanks to concealed cable management, the light aesthetics of "Semiton" are also guaranteed when electrical appliances are integrated. And as all sides of the piece of furniture are finished to a high standard, it can also serve wonderfully as a room divider. (am)
