Celebrate milestones
The International Film Festival will take place in Venice from 27 August to 6 September 2025 under the direction of Alberto Barbera. The aim of the festival is to promote awareness of international film in all its forms as art, entertainment and industry in a spirit of freedom and dialogue. Part of this event is an installation by Studio Park: ‘La Terrazza by Atlas Concorde’ by Atlas Concorde and its Atlas Plan brand will symbolically celebrate the connection between film art and Italian architecture. The venue is the iconic terrace of the luxurious Hotel Excelsior on the island of Lido near Venice, designed by Giovanni Sardi and opened in 1908. Since the first International Film Festival in 1932, it has served as a stage and meeting place for glamorous film personalities, as the Palazzo del Cinema is only a few metres away.
The terrace counter is designed by Atlas Concorde using the stone and marble surfaces ‘Taj Mahal’ and ‘Sky Stone’ from its own Atlas Plan brand, while the ‘Manhattan‘ and ‘Tratto’ collections from Atlas Concorde Habitat are used for the other furnishings. The combination of solid materials and soft colours of the stone and marble surfaces perfectly matches the exclusive atmosphere. In addition, portable rechargeable ‘Takku’ lights in black by Artemide, seating furniture by Fast and a kitchen by Modulnova round off the presentation. Tradition and innovation thus find elegant expression in the ‘La Terrazza by Atlas Concorde’ installation, which guests can experience while enjoying an aperitif. In parallel, it will showcase the diverse application possibilities of Atlas Concorde’s fine stoneware floor and wall tiles for the design of modern spaces. (am)
