Braun hybrid

The Bröhan Museum in Berlin is currently showing an exemplary digital programme to accompany the exhibition "Braun 100".
6/29/2021

In the "Braun Icons" series, the most iconic designs of the Braun company are thus presented in short video clips in German and English and published every Thursday on the social media channels of the Bröhan Museum. In parallel, there is the possibility to explore the company history and development of Braun in the form of a digital guide, from the foundation to the international breakthrough. The website also offers a guided tour of the exhibition by the director of the Bröhan Museum, Dr. Tobias Hoffmann. The show is open until 29 August 2021 and features more than 100 loans, including designs by internationally renowned designers such as Wilhelm Wagenfeld, Dieter Rams, Hans Gugelot and Otl Aicher. The development of the functionalist design of the appliances, which has also had a lasting influence on other companies, is just as much a theme in the exhibition as the interweaving of design, art and politics in the 100-year history of the company.
