Luminaire that looks like sugar

Established & Sons shows with "Filigrana" playful pendant lamps made of Venetian glass.
6/23/2018

"Filigrana" is the name of the new luminaire collection by Sebastian Wrong, creative director of the British furniture label Established & Sons. At first glance, the mouth-blown pendant lamps are reminiscent of the classic peppermint sweets, which were already a delight in the storage glass at the time of a red-and-white striped shopkeeper. "Sebastian Wrong appropriately calls his collection made of Murano glass "Eyecandy". For the glass sphere, coloured glass strips in brown, red or white are worked into the surface using the traditional thread technique. The fine grain gives the luminaires an aesthetic appearance both when switched on and off. Illuminated, an almost diffuse light shines over the glass body, gently illuminating the room.
