A look ahead

2025 exhibitors of 54 countries are currently already expected at the ISH in Frankfurt am Main. Visitors can look forward to a multifaceted range of products and services presented by the HVAC and sanitation industry from March 13 to 17, 2023.

"Solutions for a Sustainable Future" is the main theme of ISH 2023 – among other topics, ideas for using resources efficiently and with foresight will be presented, such as new technologies and promising energy alternatives. The top focuses are "Solutions for Heat Transition and Climate Protection", "Energy Efficiency & Sustainability", "Indoor-Air Quality", "Resource Water" and "Sustainable Bathroom". For a better overview of the associated events, the extensive supporting programme has also been bundled thematically. "We need the entire solution space to achieve the climate targets and ISH covers this technical breadth. The manufacturers present the status quo and what will be possible in the future," says Jan Brockmann, Federal Association of the German Heating Industry (BDH).

At the industry platform "Pop up my bathroom" in Hall 3.1, four trends will be addressed that are crucial for holistic bathroom planning: The sustainable bathroom, the compact bathroom for urban living, the bathroom as a private spa and emotional bathroom design. Technology, function and design thus flow together to form an inspiring overall picture. Workshops, moderated discussion rounds and guided tours offer an interdisciplinary insight into the status quo as well as into the future strategies of the sanitation industry and the sanitation trade. "In March 2023, the ISH in Frankfurt will become the biggest bathroom showroom in the world. This is where the trends can be seen that charge a huge growth market with innovations, emotions and bathroom stories", says Jens J. Wischmann, General Manager of the German Sanitation Industry Association (Vereinigung Deutsche Sanitärwirtschaft e.V. – VDS), and adds: "In our trend exhibition, we tell the most important stories on the basis of which modern bathrooms can be planned and give suggestions for their realisation".

In parallel, Messe Frankfurt will be offering the new ISH Digital Extension from 13 to 24 March 2023 for networking and communication.
