Lunar constellation: with "Lunanova" Occhio presents its first chandelier

OCCHIO

At the Milan Design Week, Occhio is presenting the "Luna" luminaire series and is now taking the recently introduced family into a whole new universe: with "Lunanova", the German luxury lighting brand is presenting its first chandelier.

In Occhio's flagship store on Corso Monforte in the centre of Milan, everything at this year's Salone revolves around lighting moods that become experiences and ultimately memories. The Luna series, launched on the market last autumn, is designed to create such memorable lighting moments. Axel Meise's design was inspired by the moon: the "Occhio fireball" light source appears to float in the mirrored glass sphere and creates an interesting, mysterious effect – as a wall, ceiling, table or pendant luminaire.

This year, the individual moons are brought together in a galactic network: 31 mirrored "Luna" glass spheres in "dark chrome" are arranged in different sizes on a mirrored disc. The patented "Occhio fireball" light sources in each glass sphere provide powerful, glare-free light. Reflections on the glass and mirror surfaces create an elegant glow of light. Like all Occhio products, the chandelier can be individually controlled via the Occhio air app. Available in various sizes, "Lunanova" offers the solution for an effective centrepiece in high rooms.
