Unique piece in the bathroom

With the "TECEsquare" and "TECEsolid" collections, Tece deliberately focuses on the WC flush plate as a design element: thanks to the large variety of materials and colours, the preferred style of the interior design can be continued into the sanitary areas.

While vintage industrial chic has conquered almost all design areas, from the kitchen to furniture and wall design, the bathroom has so far been left out. Tece is now bringing the cool corten steel look into the quiet little bathroom. The straight-lined "TECEsquare" flush plate not only impresses with its precise workmanship, smooth feel and flat design - panels made of manually corroded steel surfaces create unique pieces for individual bathroom designs. For this purpose, the sturdy stainless steel fixtures are refined by hand in a special process in an individual rust look to create design objects that, as unique pieces, ensure a modern yet unassimilated bathroom aesthetic. A special sealing of the rust-pigmented surface is Tece's answer to the high demands placed on WC push plates, which are stable, resistant and easy to clean despite their extravagant look. Other metal surfaces in brushed, polished or lacquered versions as well as easy-care, smooth glass surfaces round off the collection. "TECEsquare has always had a strong architectural claim with a minimalist design. So it was obvious to develop a surface for the collection update that corresponds to the building material Corten steel, which is very popular in architecture," says André Meiermann, Product Manager Sanitary Systems at Tece.

The robust and at the same time finely structured surface of the "TECEsolid" toilet push plate for dual flush technology blends in perfectly with the surroundings of public, semi-public and private bathroom areas with high design standards. The stainless steel material in the graphite and brushed nickel versions with line structure, as well as in the brass and brushed bronze version with rhombus structure, is a visual and haptic experience for users, sets subtle accents and ensures a finished look. "The WC actuation with relief surface is inspired on the one hand by architecture in which structured façades are an expression of modern aesthetics, and on the other hand by current trends in bathroom design, which include fittings with engraving, but also ceramics with structural design," says André Meiermann. Like "TECEsquare", the extremely slim "TECEsolid" tiles can be combined easily with all Tece flush tanks. Particularly in view of the trends in the fittings and accessories sector, Tece is closing a previously open gap in the market with this expansion of the range.
