To mark Milan Design Week 2025, Thonet is presenting an exclusive collaboration with fashion designer Jil Sander, who is internationally renowned for her purist aesthetic.

For the German furniture manufacturer, the designer has entered the world of furniture design for the first time and reinterpreted the best-known tubular steel classics of the late 1920s as part of the signature collection JS . THONET signature collection.

‘Design and architecture have always influenced me, I got involved with them early on,’ says Jil Sander. In two luxurious design lines, she gives the iconic cantilever chair S 64 a special elegance and new class.
