Drawing from the abundance

"Vola creates products for individualists," says Birthe Tofting, Sales and Marketing Director of the traditional Danish company. From the front plate to the handle to the outlet, customers can put together the fittings themselves, such as for the "111" single-lever basin mixer. Like all Vola products, the series allows extensive possibilities for adapting the functional parts to the respective environment - from private homes and offices to hotels and restaurants. All technical parts remain hidden in the wall thanks to the unique design by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. Each product is individually handcrafted at Vola's factory near Horsens and is available in a full range of finishes - including unique metal finishes and colours, opening up almost unlimited creative scope. In addition, Vola relies on sustainable continuity: the necessary spare parts are available for every model in the range if required. In this way, Vola's modular system has always granted architects and designers exclusive freedom for their projects and continues to set standards for bathroom fittings today. (am)
