The Metropolis armchair was designed in 2005 by Roderick Vos.
Using a square basis, the perfect balance was sought between the seat and back, without concessions to comfort. The armchair is suitable for use in the home but is also a striking feature
in public spaces. Despite the open structure of the frame, Metropolis is literally embracing: the arm rests run around the back and into the back section, which makes the armchair distinctive.
The frame is made from 18 mm metal tubing, which i
s epoxy coated in black or white. Epoxy is a heavy duty lacquer. Metropolis is also available with a stainless steel frame. The armchair can be furnished in a variety of fabrics and leather.
