A legend reinvents itself
Against the backdrop of Miami Beach, architect Richard Meier and interior designer Joseph Dirand have brought the legendary Surf Club into a new era.
Tribù knows like no other that what may seem like a simple design can conceal quite a bit of technical ingenuity. And the same applies to the CTR collection that Piergiorgio Cazzaniga came up with for Tribù. This is what the Italian designer and carpenter’s son did, with a great deal of feeling and proportions. The ingredients for success include flowing lines, rounded 90-degree angles, and a seemingly floating, flexible back. Furthermore, the professional weaving technique gives the weather-resistant textile a natural appearance. The collection, which already includes a club chair, a sofa, and an armchair, will have a fainting couch, lounge bed, and barstool added to it in 2018. Or, how Italian elegance and Belgian knowhow (or is it Belgian elegance and Italian knowhow) is a guaranteed formula for success!
